@ Relief chefs uk we are looking for a Chef de Partie with good skills and experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with the Hotel menus and standards set by the Head Chef.
Supervise and coordinate the work of the kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and food preparation guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following strict hygiene and safety regulations.
Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and daily specials.
Ensure that all food products are properly stored, labelled, and rotated.
Inspect the quality of ingredients and monitor the presentation of dishes to maintain high standards.
Mentor and train junior kitchen staff in various food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to continuously improve food quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Handle administrative duties such as inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining records.
Essential Qualifications:
Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar culinary role.
Proficient knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and flavour profiles.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
